Day 59 of building Legacy Build LLC.

I am almost two months into this journey and I want to take you along for the ride.

What I’m seeing:

Yesterday I was at Alluring Glass and we did some vision casting. Here is what I learned:

Cast vision consistently. Alluring does this once per week for 30 minutes at the start of the day.

Vision creates excitement. Vision CAN create chaos, If you pursue too many things at the same time.

Takeaway:

1. Share the big goals for the year once per quarter
2. Share 3-5 goals for a small team once per week or once per month. Less goals for larger teams.
3. The larger the team the fewer the goals. It’s hard to create focus on a large team with a lot of goals.

What I’m reading:

After catching wind of an NFL player reading inner excellence I checked it out and I can see why it’s a hit!

Here is a teaser of some of the topics I’ll be going deeper in:

1. Comfort in discomfort. Learn and grow. Become whole hearted. 
2. Compete for self mastery. Overcome your feelings and ego. 
3. Become grateful to compete. 
4. Crave adversity and challenge. Become curious over judgmental. 
5. Realize true potential is spiritual and a pursuit of heart. 
6. It’s not about winning and losing. Competing and learning is great
7. Opponent isn’t the enemy but a partner in the dance. 

What I’m feeling:

The ups and downs of entrepreneurship are very difficult. Someday feel like cloud 9. Some days feel like stuck in a rut. 

The journey cultivates inner strength. I love hard things for what it exposes in each of us. When we overcome, take ground, and keep at it we grow, we transform, we become who we are designed to be. 

It’s a beautiful journey. Not easy, but beautiful.
