A few insights from Sunday’s
From a podcast with Chris Sacca and Tim Ferris:
- With the rise of A.I. what should you invest in?
- Community
- Guided Experiences
- Practice using A.I.
With A.I. able to think and write much quicker than humans how should you invest your energy to leverage yourself? These ideas of focusing on Community and Guided Experience (Like tours) resonated with me because I believe that we humans are designed for relationship. In person relationship. If you humans are designed for relationship can you create community or an experience that meets that need?
At the same time, A.I. is a tool that more and more people are using. Like social media, don’t fall too far behind in your understanding and use of it!

- At church we talked about community. The challenge we considered was, who are you COMMITTED to loving. I was drawn to the word committed. When you love someone once thats good, when you love someone over a longer period of time that’s GREAT. Commitment is key in business partnership, marriage, and community.

- What do you love to do?
- What serves others?
- What can you do for 10+ years?
I love optimizing for purpose and meaning. I think there are a ton of great formula’s to go deeper into what your core focus should be in life. This is another one of those to consider.
Picture a vin diagram with three circles. One is love, one is serve, one is 10 years. If you can find the center, you’re finding your core.
Marketing
- Create Content
- Connect
- Respond and refer
From Blake Smith, I am learning to set aside a few hours each week for the above 3 things. Create content, connect with people online, and respond to referrals thanking them. Take 3-4 hours a week to knock this out and enjoy compounding marketing.
