I ran 14 miles on Sunday. It was a crappy day. At mile 3, I thought “This sucks, I’ll try for 14 tomorrow”. I chose to go a little further.
At mile 4, “This sucks, I’ll try for 14 tomorrow”. I chose to go a little further.
Mile 5 and 6 were the same but by mile 7 I thought “I can do more than this!”. I turned around and finished 14
Accomplishing goals in life and business feel like this. You have a bunch of energy that gets you out the door. “I’m gonna be a millionaire!”, “A billionaire!”, or “Run 14 miles!”.
You get started, you get tired, you turn around. BUT, when you keep going you find energy to do one more mile.
The principle is: There is a lot of energy at the halfway point – keep going!
