How do you keep good people and attract even better one’s?
I’ve interviewed a lot of people and have led many as well. There is a common thread.
Vision Attracts. Values retain.
People get excited about where you are going (Vision). Your organization is taking them somewhere they want to go.
Like any long and hard journey, people want to quit. What do you do?
Invest in culture. The best way to do that is through your values. I’ve observed that the person most connected to the culture has the hardest time leaving.
